How SmartPOST works

From campaign idea to real doorsteps.

Build your campaign around who and where you want to reach, see exactly how many homes that covers, choose how it gets delivered — and follow it all the way to the door.

1Start with your goal

Tell us what you're trying to achieve

Some people already know the neighbourhoods they want to reach. Others just know the kind of customer they want. SmartPOST works either way — you pick the starting point that matches how you think about your campaign.

Two ways to begin

I know the areas I want to target

Start with locations on the map, then refine them by audience if you want to.

Help me choose

Answer a few short questions about who you want to reach and SmartPOST suggests the areas that fit.

You can switch between the two at any point — nothing you've selected is lost.

2Choose who and where

Narrow down to the households that matter to you

Add the characteristics of the people you want to reach and watch the map respond. You can also search around a shop or branch, draw your own area on the map, or upload your existing customer list to find areas that look like your best customers.

  • Search around a location — a shop, showroom or branch.
  • Draw your own catchment directly on the map.
  • Upload a customer list and find similar areas.

Example audience criteria

  • Age Range: 35–54 Years
  • Education Level: Degree Level
  • Household: Married Couple With Children
  • Housing Tenure: Owner-occupied homes

These criteria are matched to SmartPOST Areas — targeting works at area level, not individual households.

3See your real reach

Know exactly how many doors you're buying

Every area you select adds real residential addresses to your campaign — not an estimate or a percentage of a population. The running total updates as you add and remove areas, so you always know the size of what you're about to send.

4Choose how it's delivered

Pick the delivery method that suits your areas

Different addresses need different handling. Apartment blocks, gated developments and rural addresses aren't all reachable the same way, so you choose how your campaign should be delivered — and you can mix methods within one campaign.

Delivery methods

Ground delivery

Our distributors walk the selected areas and deliver to letterboxes house by house.

Postal delivery

Delivered through An Post — useful for apartments and addresses ground teams can't access.

Hybrid delivery

Ground for houses and postal for apartments in the same campaign. Often the best fit for mixed neighbourhoods.

5Get your quote

A written plan you can actually check

When you're happy with the campaign, send it to us. We price it from the addresses you selected and the delivery method you chose, then send back a campaign plan you can share internally before you commit to anything.

Building a campaign and requesting a quote costs nothing, and nothing is booked until you say yes.

What your campaign plan contains

  • The areas you selected, shown on a map
  • The residential address count your price is based on
  • Your delivery method and what it covers
  • The total cost, with no hidden extras

6Follow your delivery

Watch your campaign reach the doorsteps

Once your campaign goes live you get a private link to your own report. It shows the areas being delivered and how much of your door-to-door distribution is complete, updating as the work happens — so you're never left wondering whether it went out.

Your private campaign report

Door-to-door delivery progress

Live

Progress is measured against the addresses being delivered door-to-door. Anything fulfilled by post is reported separately, so the figures stay honest.

The link is private to your campaign and isn't listed or searchable.
